86. Adrien COUVILLION I was born on 30 January 1790 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.726 He was baptized on 25 April 1790 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.726 War of 1812 Military service: (War of 1812, Private; 17th, 18th and 19th Consolidated Regiment, Louisiana Militia) in 1812.727,728 He died in February 1835 according to "Biographical and Historical Memoirs of Northwest Louisiana". A review of his succession file at the Avoyelles Archives seems to confirm that this date might be accurate. The earliest date found on a record in his succession file is 25 April 1835 (Petition for Inventory). However, his burial record is not found at St. Paul's in Mansura although he is very likely buried there. This is probably due to the fact that the burial records between 19 May 1832 and 12 April 1835 are missing. Based on all of the information that has been found, this would seem to indicate that he did, indeed, die in February 1835.
