Joseph GUILLORY II was born on 4 July 1825.⁴⁷⁶ He was baptized on 18 July 1825 at (Home of Joseph Guillory I -Recorded at St. Paul's) in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁴⁷⁶ Civil War Military service: (Civil War, Semmes' Battery, Squire's Batallion) from 1864 to 1865. I extracted his service from his wife's Civil War Widow pension application and it is confirmed by Booth's book. According to the "Louisiana Confederate Soldier Burial Database", he served in the 2nd Field Battery, Louisiana Artillery (Boone's).⁴⁷⁷ He died of Malarial Fever on 27 August 1878 at the age of 53 in Voorhies (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA according to his tombstone. According to Margaret Bordelon's Widow's Application for a Civil War pension, he died on 27 August 1877.^82,478 Joseph was buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.^478,479 Marguerite BORDELON and Joseph GUILLORY II^11,252 obtained a marriage license on 5 January 1848 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.^1,480 They^{^1,480} were united in Civil Marriage on 11 January 1848 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.^22,481 They^{^22,481} were married on 11 January 1848 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁴⁸² Marguerite and Joseph^⁴⁸² appeared in the census in 1850 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA. They appeared in the census on 3 August 1860 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA. They appeared in the census on 30 July 1870 at Subdivision No. 6 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.

Louisa (Ida) GUILLORY was born on 13 March 1857 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁴⁹³ She was baptized in 1857 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁴⁹³She died on 2 March 1935 at the age of 73 in Pineville (Rapides Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁵⁰¹ Interestingly, FindAGrave shows her DOB as 19 August 1862. However, I was unable to find any such baptismal record. At the same time, "Ida" is found in the 1860 Census at the age of 3 and as age 13 in the 1870 Census. I was unable to find any child with this family in the 1860 or 1870 Census that was born in 1862. Also, if this child (who married Dorsin Couvillion in 1872) was actually born in 1862, she would have only been 10 years of age at the time of her marriage in 1872. That is impossible.

	ix.	(Child) GUILLORY was possibly born in 1862. The DOB of 19 August 1862 is listed on the tombstone of Louise Ida Guillory (see child #6 above). I am not sure where that date came from. However, I have not found anything so far to indicate that this family had a child (at least not one that survived) born in 1862.
