He was buried on 2 August 1845 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.682 Marie Anne BORDELON and Joseph ROY II were married on 24 February 1809 according to a DAR record that I located. This date, of course, is nine years after the couple had their first child in 1800. I suspect that this is the date of a marriage blessing at St. Paul's in Mansura (the DAR application states that they were married at Mansura) but I do not yet have any other supporting documentation for this date.683
[Note: Joseph's 2nd marriage was to Bridget (Brigitte) Julia Mayeux on 8 September 1835 at Avoyelles (civil marriage). They couple signed a marriage contract on the same day.] His 3rd marriage was to Cecilia (Celesie)(Lezie) Guillot on 14 January 1845.
