Eulalie LEMOINE was born in August 1807 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.588 She was baptized on 22 November 1807 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.588 Eulalie Lemoine, widow from her second marriage to Paulin Mayeux, appeared in the census in 1850 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA with four of her children one of whom (Fulgence) was from her first marriage to Aurelien Coco. The value of her real estate was $40000. She appeared in the census on 1 December 1860 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA living with her third husband, Joseph Dorsin Mayeux, and one of his children from his first marriage. The value of their real estate was $109,000 - an extreme amount for the time. There is also a listing for a "Joseph D. Mayeux" on the 1860 Slave Census indicating that he owned 66 slaves. It was reported in the Marksville Weekly Register on 25 November 1868 that Eulalie took full control of her own property (from husband), Joseph Dorsin Mayeux. Eulalie appeared in the census on 11 June 1870 in Marksville (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA. Living with Eulalie and her third husband, Joseph Dorsin Mayeux, were two of Joseph's grandchildren and two farm laborers. She died after the 1880 Census was taken. On that census, she is listed as "E. Lemoine", age 70, and is living between two of her children: Eulalie Mayeux & Paulin P. Mayeux.
